Some nicely refined outcomes for your initial Alphabet shoots. Good balance of colour and composition.
Missing research, mindmaps and moodboards. You should aim to take at least 20 pictures per shoot and uplod you best examples. Present a final piece for this project. In my next photoshoot i will do the research before so i have more knowledge on the images that i need to get. I will also take more photos as it will expand my creativity on finding these pictures around the school. I will also do my mind maps and plans before each photoshoot so i know exactly what im doing. We have looked at edward weston since the last time i updated my blog, we have also looked at a definition of a good pictures and a bad one and looked at he photographer jennifer Blakeley. Her work that she has done is all to do with alphabet photography and photoshopping her work into the colours : white, black and orange. Edward Weston is a photographer that takes pictures of every day objects. Food, drinks etc and then photoshops them into white and black and grey. He plays and works with adjusting the brightness and contrast and in the end the pictures looks very professional. I have learnt alot since my last update since i have been up to date with the blog page such as : using angles and lighting to my advantage to get pictures in the dark to have a nice shadowing effect, also to look at everyday objects differently trying to find letters inside of the objects and whilst holding the camera being a lot more steady when taking my images.
9th Dcember 2015My progress since the carl warmer photoshoot is : I have leant to take more time, care and preparation into each and everyone of my photos. I have learnt how to take pictures like Edward Weston, to take pictures with a shadow to create a clean crisp effect, to use the handy tool photoshop to make my pictures in white and black, to add contrast and brightness to my photos and now know what defines a " good " picture and a " bad " one.
WWW Good camera handling and composition to your images. The colour is warm and vivid, clearly informed by the work of weston. EBI make sure your images are focused before you take a picture; some of your peppers are out of focus, you may have been a bit too close with the camera. |
